New Mini Tennis League for the Hinckley Cluster
|

|
A new mini tennis league has been formed to include Market Bosworth, Hinckley, Stoney Stanton, LFE and Next Generation Tennis Clubs. The aim of this league is to encourage competition experience at mini level. Each club will enter teams of four players at mini Red/Orange and Green. The matches are at Hinckley Town Tennis Club, LE10 3DR on Weds evenings 5-6.30pm The dates of the matches arranged so far are listed in this newsletter. Mini red matches will be organized at an indoor venue probably in November. The winners of the league will then go to a final against other Cluster League winners in Leicestershire. If you want to be considered to play in the league please let Matt Rose have your name.

Parents help Needed! |

We need some help from parents to organize the teams for the mini leagues and to volunteer to help score during the matches.

On 13th September there is a league final at Loughborough University for Mini Red and Orange and we have been asked to send players as part of a Cluster team. If you are interested please contact Kate De Fraja on 07774 519620. |

To play in mini tennis competitions you need to be a member of British tennis, but don’t worry it’s free! To join fill in a form or go online www.lta.org.uk/membership or call 0845 873 7202. When you join you will get a membership number and a mini rating. A full explanation of mini ratings is in the Leicestershire and Derbyshire Competition guide or on the club notice board but just ask if you are not sure about anything. The Guide also lists all mini competitions over the winter in the two counties. We hope that lots of Market Bosworth players will enter these competitions!
